Ready for an emotional rollercoaster? I mean, the good kind. Choosing to schedule a boudoir session will get you on that once in a lifetime ride. For many of my clients, they first feel a little afraid and nervous. Sometimes, even as much as fear. That is, before she’s chatted with me. After our initial consultation, she begins to feel excited, even challenged, and she lets go a bit of that fear. Throughout our weeks of communication and exchanging ideas, we start to build a friendship and complete trust- a strong foundation to an intimate session. And the hardest part is really over but it gets better. When the day of the session finally comes, it”s like receiving that reward you’ve been waiting so patiently for. She is still a little uncomfortable, naturally. And this is when I see the beginning of the first biggest transformation in her. From the second I see her on the day of our session to our last hug before I leave, she’s feeling proud because it takes courage to do what she just did. And she hasn’t even seen the images yet! That is because the rollercoaster is now at it’s climax, the highest drop, the most fun part. When the client receives the final images, she may experience surprise and disbelief- the good kind, of course. She doesn’t recognize herself yet also sees something very familiar in the woman in the image. She’s rediscovered an important part of herself. And until her next session, she will ride the high of being on the most worthwhile “emotional” rollercoaster ever… because it has made her believe in herself more.
